Have your building accredited by the CLP

Every building project undertaken in line with the goals of the CarbonLite Programme has the potential to provide useful data for future learning. Individual projects are therefore never judged in simple terms of success or failure. However, where practitioners require official accreditation for use as a marketing tool, our system will measure a building's performance against the CLP's pre-determined performance standards. This will be achieved following the submission of the items listed here:

  • Design drawings, specification, employers' requirements etc that form the contract package with completed PHPP spreadsheet to demonstrate that targets will be met
  • Photographic evidence of on-site construction following an AECB checklist
  • Two years’ worth of post-occupancy energy data to be held by the AECB on an anonymised basis
  • Results of air pressure test

The CarbonLite Programme can now provide building accreditation to the PHI standard. We have a small team of PHPP users / energy consultants who are working with PHI. For further information please contact sally@aecb.net

Costs of accreditation are in the region of £1500.
