CarbonLite Professional Development Programme

Drawing on the experience and expertise of the AECB members, the CarbonLite Training Programme offers expert advice and guidance to those involved in commissioning, designing, constructing and using low energy and low carbon buildings via the following training courses.

The training programme is funded by the Carbon Trust among others and was endorsed at the CarbonLite launch by the president of RIBA and directors of the UKGBC and CABE.

• Module 1: Delivering the Low Carbon Vision (1 Day)
• Module 2 Understanding Energy in Buildings (1 Day)
• Module 3: An Introduction to Passivhaus and the AECB Energy Standards (1 Day)
• Module 4: CarbonLite in Practice: (1 Day)
• Module 5: Designing Low Energy, Low Carbon Buildings (2 Days)
• Module 6: Using PHPP in a Building Certification Process (2 Days)

Courses are open to AECB members and non-members and all of the above training courses can be run on a bespoke basis as in-house training for a group of participants from the same company.
