What happens if my building doesn’t achieve the performance standards we hoped it would?

It doesn't matter. The CarbonLite Programme wasn't set up as a pass or fail exercise, and you certainly won't be judged on the performance of your finished building. The fact that you've embraced the principles of the programme and shown a willingness to engage with its aims is what matters. What's more, by complying with the requirements of our accreditation system and providing the data this entails, you'll be contributing to a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding energy-efficient building practices while playing a valuable part in helping the CarbonLite Programme achieve its long-term goals.
