Databases packed with useful information; design, energy and CO₂ data

Measuring and analysing the effects of sustainable building practices is crucial for progress, and for this reason, promoting a culture of post-occupancy monitoring and discussion forms an important element of the CarbonLite Programme. As well as developing a standardised, EU-compatible format for recording and comparing data, we’re maintaining a database of new and existing low-energy buildings together with their recorded energy data and details of the practitioners behind them. The database serves as an accessible and up-to-date resource for the benefit of all AECB members.

CLP technical discussion forum; co-operative learning and networking

AECB members are invited to participate in the CLP Learning Zone to mutually benefit from sharing low energy design and construction experiences as well as applied thinking on advanced construction detailing. This collaborative process is based on the CLP databases and the CLP forum, where discussion and sharing of knowledge and experience relating to designing to the CLP standards will be facilitated by expert AECB technical input and moderators.
