AECB Guidance

The AECB has a wealth of information designed to help practitioners quickly understand and adapt to the requirements of the CarbonLite Programme. As well as downloadable documents offering detailed guidance and technical support on issues like heat-loss calculation and reduction, our future aim is to provide further detail design guidance and pre-calculated schematic designs covering topics such as window area and positioning.

• Check for the latest downloadable CLP documents
• Catch up on the latest discussion of the standards and their application on the CLP forum
• Look at and/or contribute to the project databases on the Learning and Feedback Zone
• To Attend the CarbonLite training courses and become a CLP Assessor

Industry Guidance

We're have been working with manufacturers and suppliers of building components to produce approved details, specification clauses and manufacturers' guidelines covering specific products and systems that meet the criteria in the standards. And in conjunction with the web-based specification tool, Greenspec, we will be saving practitioners valuable time by making these available in formats downloadable as pdfs and into CAD files.
